Victoria Cassell Biography

Victoria Cassell is an American multimedia journalist and anchors working at WIBW-TV where she serves as a morning producer and weekend evening anchor. She joined WIBW-TV in January 2021. 

Victoria was brought up in Nairobi, Kenya and she can recall watching the news as a child and wishing to one day become a journalist. Her interest in world news expanded as her parents were missionaries traveling between Africa and the United States. In 2017, Cassell joined Korea University where she graduated 2017, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in communication and media studies. Later on, She also joined the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned a bachelor of applied science in communication media in 2018.

In addition, while she was at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she finally started to see that her dream was achievable as she experience behind the cameras, field reporting, and floor directing. She also joined the school’s radio station in addition to hosting her own show called The Median Mix. Furthermore, she took advantage of her university’s study abroad program and traveled to South Korea where she visited her paternal side of the family where she learn and develop more world news knowledge.
