Nicole Neuman is an American multimedia journalist working at WIBW-TV where she serves as a weekday and weekend reporter. She joined the station in June 2021, as a multimedia journalist.
Not long ago, she worked at ABC4 in Salt Lake City, Utah and while she was there, she covered the Utah Capitol in addition to telling lots of impactful stories that attract national attention. A number of those stories include affordable housing issues that add up to the efforts to build a tiny home community for the unsheltered, reports on the city’s homeless, growth social justice movement, the impacts of COVID-19, the 2020 election and vice presidential debate, a record-breaking number of officer-involved shootings, and wildfires and deadly avalanches.
On Salt Lake City’s historic May 30, 2020 downtown riot, she reported live for almost eight consecutive hours. Her coverage led to the production of a documentary called A Catalyst for Change that was in reference to the death of George Floyd. In addition, Neuman contributed to reports for WGN’s News Nation in Chicago, Illinois and KOIN6’s breaking 2020 wildfire coverage that told the stories of the people of Molalla in Clackamas County.
