Walter Perez is an Argentinian-American reporter/anchor working as the weekend evening co-anchor and a weekday reporter for WPVI, the ABC network affiliate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He joined Action News in September 2003.

He attended a political science graduate from Duke University. Prior to joining WPVI-TV, Perez worked at WNBC in New York, where he was a reporter and weekend morning anchor. Before that, Perez worked as an anchor/reporter at WPLG in Miami and at News 12 New Jersey.

Additionally, he also has radio experience, co-hosting the highest-rated radio talk show in Central New Jersey on WCTC News-Talk Radio 1450AM. He was also a color commentator for 5 years for the Princeton Football Radio Network in New Jersey. He has many broadcast honors, including an Edward R. Murrow award for spot news coverage, a New York State Broadcasters Award, a New York City Press Club award, and two New Jersey Associated Press awards.
