Whitney Amann is an American Reporter/Anchor known for working with 9&10 News – Heritage Broadcasting where she served the station as a Reporter/Anchor. She worked with the station between the months of February 2017 and December 2022. Whitney now works for National Cherry Festival serving the station as a Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator. She has been working with the team since December 2022.

Amann works with 9&10 News where he serves the station as a Reporter/Anchor in the Traverse City bureau. She is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan where he obtained a degree in journalism and screen studies. While he was in college, he had internships with Detroit Public TV where he worked as a Production Intern in Wixom, Michigan. He worked with the station between August 2015 and December 2015.

Prior to joining the station, he was working with Central City Dance as a Dance Instructor between September 2010 and August 2015. After Detroit Public TV, he went on to work with WXYZ-TV in Southfield, Michigan where he worked for the station between May 2016 and August 2016.

He, later on, went on to join WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan Area where he was serving the station as a News Intern between September 2016 and December 2016. He is a proud native of metro Detroit and has grown up coming to Northern Michigan and is happy to call Traverse City Home. Away from work, she enjoys exploring new areas, spending as much time as she can with family and friends, and being out on the water.
