Zara Barker is an American journalist working for KUSI FOX 5 as a reporter since joining the station in June 2022. Previously, she worked for KTVI FOX 2 in St. Louis, Missouri as the 11 p.m. anchor.

Barker joined the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism in 2014 when she finished her high school education at Centennial High School. In 2018, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She also has a Master’s degree in Investigative Reporting from the school. In 2016, she studied journalism at Florence University of the Arts.
While in college, she was involved with the Association of Women in Sports Media and Women in Media, Radio Television Digital News Association. For 5 semesters, she appeared on the Dean’s List. While completing her Master’s degree, she worked for ABC 17 News as a news anchor and reporter doe 2 years.
