Martha Sugalski is an American Emmy Award-winning Anchor and Reporter working for WFTV as an evening anchor. She has been working for the station since joining in August 2015.

Sugalski works for WFTV as an evening anchor. In this role, she anchors the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts, as well as the 10 p.m. newscast on TV27. She has worked in the journalism industry for over 2 decades and has spent the entire of her career in Florida.

Since she started her journalism career, Sugalski has managed to cover several stories and events that hit headlines all across the United States and beyond. She has covered several presidential visits, the raging central Florida hurricanes, wildfires, the Elian Gonzalez saga, the Miami Heat’s NBA championship, the Florida Marlins World Series win, and the Casey Anthony trial..

Sugalski has also managed to win several awards and honors ever since she started her journalism career. For instance, she was awarded an Emmy Award in 2014 for enclosing the deadly daycare car crash in Orlando. In addition to that, she was also recognized by the National Traffic Safety Commission for her story about the improper use of child safety seats. Furthermore, she is also an advocate for the kids who are endangered of aging out of the foster care system prior to them being adopted.
