Erin La Row Biography

Erin La Row is an American former producer/anchor/host best known for her time at KSNT where she served as a producer and co-host of the FOX 43 AM Live show. She joined FOX 43 in March 2019, and later in April 2022, she left the station. She has been working at Peterson Media Group as an editor since leaving FOX 43.

Erin is a Seaman High School graduate. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with a public relations emphasis from Emporia State University and a minor in journalism from Kansas State University while pursuing her undergraduate degree. She also studied at Baker University where she earned a master of business administration.

Row is best known for her time at KSNT where she served as a producer and co-host of the FOX 43 AM Live show. Topeka is her native home and while she was at Emporia State University, she focused on print journalism and worked at the campus newspaper, The Bulletin as the editor-in-chief.

Later on, she started her broadcasting career at KAKE-TV as the bureau chief at its KUPK-KLBY station in Garden City. While she was at KUPK-KLBY, she covered the entire western third of the state and provided reports for KAKE while also anchoring a nightly western Kansas segment for KUPK-KLBY.

While she worked at KUPK-KLBY, she was a one-woman band as she did her own shooting, editing, and producing. She also earned a first-place award for a non-metro television station newscast from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. She later took a break from broadcast journalism and for almost 10 years, she worked in corporate communications/public relations, and for a couple of years, she worked in the financial planning industry.

During her leisure time, she enjoys watching a movie with her cat on her lap while sipping chocolate wine, volunteering at her kids’ schools and at her church, being at a practice or game, serving as a taxi driver for her sons, and serving as the chair of CASA of Shawnee County’s Homes for the Holidays committee. Previously, she served on the board of directors of CASA.

She previously served on the CASA board of directors for two terms.
