Dave Holder is an American Meteorologist working for Weather Nation serving the station as a Weather Anchor/Reporter. Prior to this, she was working for KX News serving the station as an Evening Meteorologist. He has also previously worked at KHAQ located in Quincy, Illinois, and KEZI in Eugene, Oregon as a Meteorologist.

Holder works for Weather Nation where he serves the station as a Weather Anchor/Reporter. He has been immersed in weather since he can first remember. Among his earliest memories was the infamous “Great Storm of 1987” which battered England where he living at the time.
He was initially terrified of thunderstorms as a child. This fear later led to her fascination with a desire to learn more about them. Asides from thunderstorms, snowstorms are also his favorite weather phenomenon. One such storm that stands out in his memory is the “Storm of the Century” that hit the east coast in 1993.
He, later on, ended up at the University of Oklahoma where he was studying Meteorology, and in the process, he chased some of the fiercest weather in the world. This range from the Mexican border to the Canadian Prairie. While he was doing so, he made a few appearances on the Discovery Channel show “Storm Chasers.”
Turning back to the field of broadcast meteorology, he kick-started his career in Quincy, Illinois at KHQA which was before spending a few years in Eugene, Oregon at KEZI. He was very excited to be back in North Dakota after spending time chasing in the past.
Holder also plans to use his severe thunderstorm and winter weather forecasting skills to bring accurate forecasts along with his special brand of weather nerdiness, to the viewers. Asides from the weather, his hobbies, include geology, genealogy, history, traveling, photography, Philadelphia Eagles and Oklahoma Sooners football, and poker.
