Adam Longo is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter working for WUSA-TV serving as a news reporter and anchor. Earlier, he worked as a weekend anchor at Arizona’s Family in Phoenix.

Longo graduated from Fork Union Military Academy in Fluvanna County and then he enrolled at the University of Maryland College Park where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. While in college, he worked for Philip Merrill College of Journalism – University of Maryland as an adjunct lecturer.

Longo works as a news reporter and anchor at WUSA-TV, the CBS affiliate in Washington, DC. In 2021, he and his fellow coworker Reese Waters assisted in opening up the Open Mic show. He joined the station in October 2015, after working for Arizona’s Family as a weekend anchor. Later on, Adam was promoted to weekday morning anchor and reporter serving there from August 2012 to September 2015. Previously, he spent three years and three months working as an anchor and reporter at Central Florida News 13 in Orlando.
Before working for Central Florida News 13, Adam served as a reporter at WKMG-TV in Orlando from October 2007 to May 2009. Earlier, he worked in Knoxville, Tennessee where he worked for WATE 6 On Your Side as a reporter and anchor. Longo served the station for two years from 2005 to 2007.
Previously, he worked for WVIR-TV, the NBC 29 affiliate in Charlottesville, Virginia. He worked as a primary anchor for four months from October 2001 to September 2005.
Adam began his career as an anchor and reporter working for WDSI-TV, the Fox61 affiliate in Chattanooga. Before working for WDSI-TV, he served as a photographer and reporter at NBC29 WVIR-TV. Earlier, Longo spent six months working as a traffic anchor at SmartTraveler-TV in Washington D.C. In addition to working at SmartTraveler-TV, he also worked for WJLA-TV as a writer and associate producer. He worked for the station for two years and five months from May 1998 to September 2000.
