Lorenzo Hall is an American Anchor working for WUSA9 News serving as a weeknight co-anchor alongside Lesli Foster at 5, 6, and 11 p.m. He joined the station in 2018, after working at WTIC-TV as a primary evening anchor.
Lorenzo Hall Education
Hall attended his high school education in the Midwest where he worked on the “Teen Summit” and Black Entertainment Television. He then enrolled at the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia where he obtained a degree in journalism. In his last semester, he traveled to Germany, France, Belgium, and Italy to practice journalism.

For his outstanding work, Lorenzo was honored with two regional Edward R. Murrow awards and eight Emmy Awards for being the best writer and reporter.
Before working at WUSA9, Hall worked for WTIC-TV, the FOX affiliate in Hartford, Connecticut. While there, he served as a primary evening anchor where he covered the current struggles of Vietnam veterans. Previously, Lorenzo worked at WTVR-TV, the CBS affiliate in Richmond, Virginia as a reporter and anchor at 5 p.m. During his time at WTVR-TV, he reported various stories such as the P-3 hurricane hunter aircraft. He also exposed local leaders and covered national and local corruption.
Lorenzo started his professional career at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri working as a general assignment reporter. He also contributed to KBIA-FM, an NPR affiliate in Columbia, Missouri where he reported political issues. On top of this, Hall was also in charge of various duties such as gathering news, editing, and shooting videos.
