Adriana Diaz is an American Correspondent and anchor working for CBS News in Chicago. She joined the station in 2012 and serves as a national correspondent and anchor of the CBS Weekend News Saturday.

Diaz attended Stuyvesant High School where she earned her High School Diploma. From there, she had to further her education. She joined Princeton University to pursue her career course where she majored in public and international affairs. After completing her studies there, she joined Columbia University where she earned a master’s degree in public affairs and public administration in a dual degree program. In 2003, she was Miss New York Teen USA and in 2006 she was Miss New York USA. She is also on the board of the Harmony Program. She serves as an anchor of the Saturday edition of the “CBS Weekend News.” It broadcasts from CBS News’ Chicago Bureau located in the CBS-owned-and-operated station WBBM-TV. During her tenure at CBS News, she has covered the pandemic’s disproportionate effect on minorities together with her colleagues. Not long ago she reported from inside COVID-19 wards where she interviewed patients and frontline workers in Wisconsin’s largest hospital.
