Diaz attended Stuyvesant High School where she earned her High School Diploma. From there, she had to further her education. She joined Princeton University to pursue her career course where she majored in public and international affairs. After completing her studies there, she joined Columbia University where she earned a master’s degree in public affairs and public administration in a dual degree program. In 2003, she was Miss New York Teen USA and in 2006 she was Miss New York USA. She is also on the board of the Harmony Program.
