Andrew Baertlein is an American journalist working for KTVB as a multi-skilled journalist since joining the station in May 2021. In this role, he serves KTVB’s 5 p.m. newscast “The208” as a reporter alongside Brian Holmes and Joe Parris. His work appears every day on the News at 6.
Andrew Baertlein Education
Baertlein joined the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University in 2017 when he finished his high school education at Mead Senior High School. In 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Production.
While in college, he lived in Pullman, Washington, and worked for Murrow News 8 as a reporter and producer. Also, he gained experience in sports radio working for both sides of the Idaho-Washington state line. He worked for KQQQ/KHTR as a play-by-play broadcaster where he broadcasted prep sports.
Baertlein worked as the voice of Pullman Greyhound baseball and basketball and regularly filled in to broadcast Potlatch Loggers football.
