Auld began her journalism career while she was still studying at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She interned at KCNC, a CBS affiliate in Denver, on multiple occasions, and later in July of 2014, Anna relocated to the Sunflower State. In addition, she began her career as a news and sports reporter in the Salina bureau. Anna covered high school athletics for CatchItKansas for years.
