In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies. During her time in Macon, she broadcasted elections on every level, the impacts of a federal tax lien placed on the city of Warner Robins, the developing economy of local cities around the area, and the community pushback of a plastics-to-fuel facility.
Her news career started when she worked as a photojournalist for Fox Carolina in Greenville, South Carolina for four years. She worked with a team that won a Southeast Emmy for their Hurricane Doraian broadcast. While there, she decided to transition to on-air reporting because her passion is telling stories that are important to the community.
