Bailey O’Carroll is an American reporter working for KTVU-TV serving as a reporter. Before joining the station in May 2023, she worked as a sports reporter and MMJ at KOLD News 13 in Tucson, Arizona.

O’Carroll attended Mission Hills High School in 2011 where she graduated in 2015 with a diploma. She was also a member of the National Honors Society, Volleyball Captain, and Student Athletic Director. After high school, she furthered her studies at Arizona State University – Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where she received a degree in Mass Communications and sports journalism in 2019.
While studying, Bailey was hired at Blaze Radio 1330 AM as a host and executive producer from September 2015 to June 2016. She also worked as a reporter and sports host at The Cronkite File for six months. Later on, she landed a role as a sports writing intern at Minute Media in New York. While there, O’Carroll covered significant sports news such as NCAA Basketball -Boxing, NCAA Football, and MLB. After that, she got an opportunity to work as a reporter and editor at Walter Cronkite Sports Network. In addition, she also served as a teaching assistant from October 2016 to December 2017.

She has also covered important major news like the impact of abuse within the San Jose State University gymnastics program. Prior to joining the station in May 2023, Bailey worked as a sports reporter and MMJ at KOLD News 13 in Tucson, Arizona. There, she reported a wide range of news including the historic wildfires, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, and the January 6th Capitol riots. Earlier, O’Carroll spent three months working as a reporter at Sports Business Journal from October 2019 to December 2019. Before working at Sports Business Journal, Bailey served as an MMJ, videographer, and freelance reporter at Big3 from May 2019 to August 2019. On top of this, she also worked for Cheddar as a campus correspondent. While there, she was in charge of editing stories weekly and producing, and pitching stories. In addition, O’Carroll also served as a Cronkite news reporter at Arizona PBS from August 2018 to May 2019. She also traveled to Munich, Germany to cover the Derrick Williams reports and the Basketball Hall of Fame Induction in 2018.
Bailey started her career at ESPN in Phoenix, Arizona as a campus correspondent. Before that, she spent three months working for NBCUniversal Media as an intern from June 2018 to August 2018. Earlier, O’Carroll worked as a house of a sparky multimedia reporter at SB Nation. While working for SB Nation, she also served as an intern at Your PHX CW6 KASW-TV in Phoenix, Arizona. During her tenure at KASW-TV, she was in charge of Logging interviews, researching, and pitching daily stories.
