Ben Becker is an American Award-Winning journalist working for WJAX serving as a weekend anchor and reporter. He joined the station from CBS12.

Becker also co-anchors FOX30 and CBS47 on weekend evenings. He had also worked with other stations prior to joining WJAX. Previously, he served as a reporter/anchor for CBS12 in West Palm Beach, where he enclosed Florida government waste, politics, and investigations into public safety. Prior to that, he had spent some time working for ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut, serving as an anchor on ESP Classic and ESPNews.

Becker also hosted some other shows like the weeknight Pregame, The Blitz, the weekday afternoon Hot List, Postgame, and Gametime. Prior to ESPN, he worked for WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida where he served as a sports anchor and director. He then moved to WINK in Fort Myers, Florida, where he served as a sports anchor and reporter and as sports director and anchor at KDRV in Medford, Oregon.

Becker’s career started at WJLA in Washington, D.C. where he was a sports producer after graduating from college. Becker attended American University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism.

Becker’s love for TV career started when he was still a young boy and this was his dream career to him, it is a dream come true. Whenever he is not at work, he enjoys mentoring emerging broadcasters, golfing, and most importantly, spending some time with his family. He is very much glad to be calling Jackson home and is always on the move of helping the people of his community.
