Bill Anderson is an American Multi-Media Journalist/Anchor working for FOX 29 since joining the station in February 2015. Anderson reports on the brighter side of life in his regular news series “For Goodness’ Sake.”

Prior to joining the team as a co-anchor for the weekend edition of “Good Day Philadelphia,” Anderson worked as a contributor to FOX 29 News and “Good Day Philadelphia” for years. Before joining FOX 29, Anderson was a reporter for three years “Chasing News,” an innovative public affairs program broadcast on Fox 29 and WWOR in Secaucus, New Jersey.
For a decade prior to joining “Chasing News,” he hosted “Wake Up with Bill,” an award-winning talk show on Philadelphia’s 900 AM WURD. His work in the community was recognized by the Philadelphia Tribune Newspaper which named him one of “Philadelphia’s Most Influential African Americans,” and Philadelphia Weekly named him “Best Radio Talker.”
Anderson was a panelist in the Emmy-nominated FOX 29 series “Black on Black.” Additionally, he is featured in JAY-Z’s documentary of the nationally-recognized concert “Made in America.” Throughout his career, Anderson has interviewed several people, including Presidents Clinton, Obama, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
