Jason Martinez is an American Anchor working for FOX 29 News since joining the station in June 2019. She joined as co-anchor of The FOX 29 News broadcasts on weeknights at Five, Six, Ten, and 11 p.m.

Martinez is an Emmy Award-winning anchor/reporter. He moved to Philly from San Diego, where he was the morning anchor at KGTV four years before. His experience there comprises anchoring non-stop coverage of the devastating Lilac Fire, which destroyed more than 200 homes, immigration issues, the international border conflict, and California’s cost of living crisis.

He spent five years as an anchor at WPLG in Miami, covering some of the wildest “only in Florida” stories of his career before San Diego.
