Bob Kelly Biography

Bob Kelly is an American Traffic Anchor on Fox 29. He has been working at the FOX 29 News team since joining the station in October 2014.

Besides, he hosts the regular morning segments “Kelly’s Classroom,” “Breakfast with Bob,” and “Town Takeover,” all of which take him out into the community to connect with “Good Day Philadelphia” viewers. Kelly as well co-hosted the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade for more than 15 years. He graduated from North Catholic High School and Temple University

Before joining FOX 29, He was the Traffic Anchor for 13 years at CBS 3 in Philadelphia. Kelly became the first Philadelphia traffic anchor to do his reports in front of the green screen. Animated and fun to watch with his highly popular phrases like Two Jelly Donut Delay, Jammo, and the Conshy Curve, He is currently referred to by so many as “The Dean of Traffic.”

Through the years, the Emmy Award-winning Traffic Anchor has entertained sports fans on the Jumbotron at the Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers games, and with his popular segment “Tailgate Takeover,” before Eagles games.
