Bob Maxon is an American journalist and TV host who serves as a weekday morning meteorologist on NBC Connecticut (WVIT) News Today in New Britain, Connecticut, United States.
His career in weather has seen him forecast the weather throughout the northeast. He has also covered big storms that have hit the northeast. He covered Hurricane Bob in 1991, the Great Winter Storm of ’93, the Blizzard of ’96, the outstanding President’s Day Blizzard of 2003, Irene and Sandy, and also the blizzard of February 2013.

Maxon began his career in weather at Cable News Center 7 in Ithaca, New York in 1987. In 1988, he moved to WMGC in Binghamton, New York. In April 1989, he made his transition to WMUR TV in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. He gained most of his working experience there until August 1995.
Maxon joined NBC Universal in 1995 as a meteorologist. For his work in both forecasting and broadcasting, he has been awarded the “Seal of Approval”. He greatly helps several organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the March of Dimes, the Special Olympics, the American Heart Association, and FAVARH in raising money.
