Montgomery has an experience of over three decades in reporting and anchoring, he began his broadcast journalism in 1989 in St. Louis, MO market at radio station WIBV.
After securing a job at WSBT, he moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1991 together with his family. Working at WSBT, he began by serving as the morning drive radio news anchor on WSBT 960am. After working in that position so quite some time, he was elevated to the position of News and Program Director for WSBT Radio in 1996.
He has led the most award-winning radio news staff in South Bend over the past two decades and he is proud of doing such great work. In 2014, he moved full-time to WSBT-TV. In addition to that, he is thrilled and glad to be part of a team with the number-one morning news broadcast in the South Bend market.
