Lynnette Grant is an American meteorologist, weather anchor, video editing director, and multimedia journalist working for WSBT22 News in South Bend, Indiana. She joined the station in September 2019 and serves as a meteorologist.

After graduating from high school and earning her High School Diploma, she had to further her education. She joined Valparaiso University in 2012 to pursue her career course. In 2016, she completed her studies there and graduated with her degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science.

Grant recalls one day sitting on the kitchen floor in front of a map of the Chicago suburbs during severe weather. She called her dad at work on multiple occasions to give him updates on the impending weather.
To date, the marks remain on the map and the desire to be ahead of the weather still burns strong in her. She presented award-winning research at its national meetings. Grant is a member of the National Weather Association. She is also an Author of the award-winning research project The Color Conundrum.
During her leisure time, she likes cooking, reading, theater, and also music. In addition to that, DIY crafts are her go-to. While in church, she likes singing and playing several instruments including the ukulele, guitar, piano, and clarinet. Without forgetting, traveling is also her thing, she enjoys exploring this area around Lake Michigan and becoming an official Hoosier this time.
