Bonney Bowman is an American anchor/reporter best known for her time at KBJR 6 in Duluth, MN where she served as an evening anchor. She joined the KBJR evening team in May 2019 and left in March 2022. She left the station for a job at the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, where she has been working with the Force Investigations Unit as a Public Information Officer since March 2022.

She’s worked in the broadcast news field for 11 years, beginning in Joplin, Missouri in 2007. She’s worked in Lincoln, Nebraska, Anchorage, Alaska, and Lansing, Michigan since that time. Her professional highlights include covering the horrific Joplin storm on May 22, 2011, and embedding with an Alaska Army battalion in Afghanistan in 2014. She’s pleased to continue working in the Northland.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 2007 and has appreciated the many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that her job has provided.
