Brittny McGraw is an American anchor working at WSLS where she serves as the weekdays evening anchor at 5, 7, and 11 p.m.
She set her mind on becoming a journalist while she was in third grade and she has been living the dream ever since. Charlotte is her native home and she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McGraw gena her news career at NBC News Channel in Charlotte and later on, she worked at WCTI-TV in New Bern, North Carolina where she served as a weekend anchor and reporter.
Later on, she relocated to Dayton, Ohio where she worked at WHIO as the weekend anchor and reporter, filling in on the sports desk. In addition, while she was in Ohio, she earned an Ohio Valley Regional Emmy and was honored by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Ohio Associated Press.
McGraw relocated to Pittsburgh where she joined the WPXI team and served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter. She serves as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh and also volunteers with the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania program called Open Your Heart to a Senior that providing support to seniors in the community.
In addition, she also served on the board of Providence Connections which is an organization based on Pittsburgh’s North Side. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
