Carmen Rose Biography
Carmen Rose is an American Meteorologist working with FOX 16/KARK 4 where she serves the station as a Weekday Mornings Meteorologist for KARK 4 Today from 4-7 AM. She also broadcasts the weather news for KARK 4 sister station, FOX 16 Good Day from 7 AM -9 AM. She has been working with Arkansas Storm Team since January 2020.

She earned a B.S. in Earth Science and a B.A. in Journalism from Michigan State University. Carmen also holds the American Meteorological Society’s CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) designation.

Rose works with FOX 16 News where she has been working with Arkansas Storm Team since January 2020. She happens to be the on-air weekday Mornings on Fox 16 Good Day and KARK 4 Today. Rose was raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and is a proud graduate of Michigan State University.
There, she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She also has her CBM(Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) from the American Meteorological Society.
She states that she geeks out on science and breaks down weather phenomena. Her love for the outdoors further fuels her passion for the weather and our atmosphere. Rose kick-started his career in Columbus, Georgia where she was working as a weekend meteorologist and science/environmental multimedia journalist.
Carmen has previously worked in a Chief Meteorologist position in Eugene, Oregon. Asides from that she states that she is happy to be back south, tracking active Arkansas weather. She enjoys spending most of her free time hiking with her German Shepherd/Husky mix, Memphis. Rose has a great love for adventure, spicy food, and animals.
