Caroline studied communications at Newberry College in South Carolina, where she also cheered on the Wolves. She transferred to the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication to pursue a journalism degree.

Caroline Elliott Career

Caroline began her career as an intern in a newsroom in Charleston, South Carolina. She began her career as an intern in Atlanta at FOX5 Atlanta and later WSB-TV after moving home to Georgia. She also worked for Grady Newsource as an anchor and reporter during her time at UGA.

KWCH-DT, virtual channel 12 (UHF digital channel 19), is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Hutchinson that broadcasts in Wichita, Kansas. Gray Television owns the station as part of a duopoly alongside CW affiliate KSCW-DT in Wichita (channel 33). KWCH-transmitter DT’s is in rural northeastern Reno County, and the two stations share studios on 37th Street in northeast Wichita (on the town limits of Hutchinson).

KWCH-DT is the flagship station of the Kansas Broadcasting System (KBS), a statewide network of four full-power stations that broadcast KWCH’s CBS network and another programming throughout central and western Kansas, as well as neighboring counties in Colorado, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
