Charles Payne is an American contributor and host working at FOX Business Network (FBN). He has been working for FOX News Media since joining in 2007.

Payne serves as a contributor and host of Making Money with Charles Payne (weekdays 2-3 PM/ET) and provides financial analysis across FBN and FOX News Channel. He recently enclosed a Black History Month special called Making Money with Charles Payne’s: Black History and Achieving the Dream. Here, he interviewed several guests to share their personal success stories and educate viewers on the investor revolution and the rise of cryptocurrencies.

Payne has also made several appearances on several programs including America’s Newsroom and FOX & Friends and provides breaking market news analysis and financial insights. He previously served as a guest host for FNC’s Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Payne started his journalism career at t E.F. Hutton in 1985 on Wall Street as an analyst. Later on, in 1991, he founded an independent stock market research firm called Wall Street Strategies where he serves as a principal analyst and chief executive officer. In May 2007 also authored and published his first book called “Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich”. In 2019, he released his second book called “Unstoppable Prosperity: Learn the Strategy I’ve Used for Years to Beat the Market.”

Payne battled a heart attack in the year 2012, which was brought about by a heart rhythm disorder, ventricular tachycardia, which is caused by electrical signals in the lower chambers of the heart. After getting the attack, she was put on ventilators before undergoing a heart transplant. Since she received the transplant, she has been an active member of various charity events involving organ donations. In the year 2013, she was a supporter of the USATF-Certified race and the NJ Sharing Networks 5k Walk, which assisted in raising funds for various organizations.
