Chick Hernandez is an American Sports anchor working for WUSA-TV serving as a sports anchor at 6 and 11 p.m. Previously, he served as a play-by-play commentator at CBS Sports.

Chick previously spent eleven months working for Lineacre Media Events & CBS Sports Network. While there, he served as a commentator from October 2020 to August 2021. Before that, Hernandez served as a host, Sports reporter, and anchor at NBC Sports from March 2001 to June 2018.
He began his professional career at WTTG-TV, the FOX5 affiliate in Washington D.C. where he served as a sports reporter and anchor. Chick served the station for seven years from June 1993 to June 2000. Previously, he worked as a sports director at WRDW-TV from 1990 to 1993. Besides this, Hernandez also served as a reporter and anchor at Sports News Network. Apart from working as a journalist, Chick served as a voice-over artist at CHMedia from April 2020 to January 2021. Before that, he worked for CH Media as a CEO from June 2018 to June 2018.
