He received his education at Georgetown Preparatory School from 1987 to 1988 and participated in the football team, baseball team, and yearbook. From 1988 to 1991, he attended Quince Orchard High School where he was sports editor; of the “Prowler” student newspaper, and vice president of: the Student Government Association. Also, he was a member of football Lacrosse, Cheerleading team Latin Club, and the Montgomery Blue Devils”. Was a manager of Basketball, Softball teams, a part of “charter classes” that comprised the school’s first student body, and was a member of committees that formed several school traditions and routines.

From April 1997 to April 2005, he was a sports anchor at AKDLH-TV, where he was a sports anchor and reporter in a 2-person department and performed producing, reporting, anchoring, and videography duties.

He was also a Sports Talk Radio Host at WDSM-AM – Midwest Communications from 1998 to 2004, where he co-hosted weekly hyper-local sports talk radio program and regular filled-in host amid the station’s primary programs. From 1994 to 1996, he worked at KOMU-TV – Columbia MO as a sports reporter/anchor as the Saturday evening Sports Anchor.
