Chris Rosato is an American reporter working for WAFB-TV as a nightside reporter and legislative correspondent. Before joining WAFB TV, he worked for the SELU Northshore News where he served as an anchor and reporter.

Rosato attended Riverside Military Academy in 2012 where he graduated with a diploma in 2015. He was also a member of several clubs such as Soccer, Football, Theatre, and Track & Field. In 2016, he enrolled at Southern Louisiana University where he obtained a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Public Relations in 2020.
While in college, Chris worked for the award-winning newscast on the campus channel where he was awarded various awards. For his work at the station, he was recognized by College Broadcasters, the Southeast Journalist Conference, and the Associated Press.
Rosata serves as a legislative correspondent and a nightside reporter at WAFB TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is thrilled to be a member of the WAFB team where he brings heartbeating news. Chris has been with the station for more than three years from November 2020. Earlier, he worked for the SELU Northshore News where he served as an anchor and reporter. He worked for the station for four years and six months from June 2016 to November 2020.
Chris started his broadcasting journey at WBRZ-TV working as an intern from June 2019 to December 2019. Apart from working as a journalist, he also worked as a bartender at The Lakehouse on the Lakefront. Rosato worked there for five years and six months from June 2015 to November 2020.
