Christopher Heath Biography

Christopher Heath is an Anchor/Investigative reporter, currently working for WFTV since January 2013. She anchors on the Eyewitness News.

Christopher Heath Career

In addition to reporting on television, Heath also hosts a podcast focused on politics in Florida called, “Battleground Florida with Christopher Heath”. He moved from Ohio to Orlando, Florida, as an investigative reporter. The purpose of his relocation is to find corruption and wasted expenditures around central Florida as it is part of WFTV’s Eyewitness News 9 Investigates coverage. The movement from Ohio to Florida was a major adjustment since Heath has spent the majority of his life in Texas. He was most recently honored by the Associated Press for his investigation into the increased dangers faced by firefighters. This was as a result of new cars and consumer safety systems, which he reported from San Antonio.

Heath worked as a reporter in Waco, Texas, before moving to San Antonio. This is where he mainly focused on the government and the military, particularly Fort Hood. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Christopher’s coverage of the US Army took him to New Orleans, where he spent a week with the First Cavalry Division as soldiers carried out rescue and recovery missions.

During his leisure, he loves taking their dogs to the dog park, together with his family. He also likes playing hockey. Additionally, she enjoys running(five Disney marathons).
