Courtney Guiry is an American anchor and producer working at WHSV where she serves as the daybreak anchor and producer a position she took up in April 2021. She joined the WHSV team in July 2020, as a multimedia journalist.

Guiry works for WHSV serving the station as a Daybreak Anchor and Producer. The Capital Region of New York is her native home and in 2012, she joined Shenendehowa High School where she earned a diploma in 2016.

Later on, she joined Pennsylvania State University College of Communications where she graduated in May 2020, with a major in broadcast journalism, a minor in digital media trends and analytics, as well as a certificate from Penn State’s Curley Center for Sports Journalism.

While she grew up, she played lacrosse and basketball through high school and competitively danced. Courtney continued dancing throughout college on Penn State’s hip-hop called Whiplash Dance Team. During her leisure time, she enjoys going to the beach with her family precisely in Sag Harbor, New York, spending time outside, and watching movies on bad weather days.
