Cristina Mendez is an American anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist working for WJZ CBS News in Baltimore, Maryland. She joined the station in November 2021 as a multimedia journalist.

She also worked for WBBH in Ft. Myers, Florida as a reporter and anchor.
In the course of her tenure at NBC2 News, she covered the disappearance of Gabby Petito, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, the Florida gubernatorial election, two Super Bowls in Minneapolis and Miami, as well as three major hurricanes. During her leisure time, she likes snowboarding, and hiking, and can also be found outdoors in all kinds of weather. In addition to that, she is a scuba diver.
