 Michelle Miller Biography

Michelle Miller is an American Emmy award-winning correspondent, host, and anchor working for CBS News. She joined the network in 2004 as a national correspondent. Miller serves as a co-host on CBS Saturday Morning and as a substitute anchor on CBS Mornings and 48 Hours on ID.

She has served as the president of both the New Orleans Association of Black Journalists and Black Journalists Association of Southern California. Miller was a vice president of the YWCA of Greater New Orleans. In addition, she is a former member of the Board of Advisors at Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism.

She is a board member of the Greater New York Chapter of the Links, Inc., the School of American Ballet. Miller served on the March of Dimes National Communications Advisory Council and is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative for the United Way of New Orleans.

She was a guest speaker for the National Model UN Program and participated in the Poynter Institute, was a Hitesman Lecturer at Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication, the Annual H.
