Before joining WABC-TV, she worked at KYW-TV in Philadelphia where she served as a reporter, and while she was there, she covered general assignments, chased breaking news, and contributed enterprise stories. One of the stories she did, it resulted in a change in Philadelphia’s fire escape inspection regulations and she was nominated for an Emmy. In addition, she also worked at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton where she served as a fill-in -anchor, host, and reporter.

Furthermore, Crystal reported on major breaking news stories and events such as the presidential campaigns in 2016 of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the fight to close Wilkes-Barre City Hall in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and the devastation caused by a rare tornado. For a series of reports that she did including the battle to close City Hall, she won a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award. A citation for Crystal’s community service efforts was awarded to her by   The Pennsylvania House of Representatives. In addition, she was able to secure her first television reporting job at Spectrum News in Corning, New York and while she was there, she earned a notable exclusive. During her downtime, she enjoys perfecting her Roti-making skills, mentoring others, and reading.
