Davis joined the University of Alabama when she finished her high school, education. She later graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Geography and Broadcast News emphasizing Atmospheric Science. As a senior in college, she was hired by WVUA 23 in Tuscaloosa as the weekend meteorologist.
At WVUA 23, Davis had the chance to broadcast many tornado outbreaks all over Central Alabama. She later joined Mississippi State University where she received her Master Of Science degree in Meteorology. While pursuing her Master’s, she worked as a teaching assistant at the practicum to broadcast meteorology classes.

Davis moved to Oklahoma City in 2020 as a result of her passion for broadcasting severe weather. She worked there as a broadcast meteorologist till 2022. During this time, she had the chance to broadcast every type of weather including ice storms, extreme hail, and tornadoes.
