She joined KWCH 12 in May 2018, and later in August of the same year, she left the station. In addition, she currently works at The University of Kansas where she serves as a news and sports anchor for the University’s station known as KUJH.
In 2015, Ellen joined Johnson County Community College where she graduated in 2017, with an associate of arts in broadcast journalism. Later on, she also joined The University of Kansas where she studied journalism. While still in college, Ellen interned at KWCH Newsroom in the summer of 2018. She learned the importance of local journalism while interning at KWCH. Ellen is dedicated to locating and conveying the most compelling stories from the viewing communities to the best of her ability. She spends her free time working out at the gym or eating.
