Gary Sieber Biography
Gary Sieber is an American anchor and weather forecaster working at WNDU – TV where he serves as the co-anchor of the Saturday morning weather poetry called The Weather Could be Verse. He joined the WNDU team in February 1985, as a Director of News and Public Affairs till 1991. In addition, he also served as an instructor in film, Television, and Theatre.

Since 1980, he worked at Channel 16 and since 1991, he has served as a supervisor for the education programs offered through WNDU for the University of Notre Dame. Sieber also teaches Broadcast Journalism specializing in Ethics, News Writing, and Journalism Law at The University of Notre Dame as an Adjunct Professor of Television, Theatre, and Film.
Furthermore, he has served as a manager for First Amendment legal matters and FCC regulations for WNDU. He also served as the supervisor of the writing and production of the nationally distributed PBS documentary series Today’s Life Choices from 1992, to 2003. The Today’s Life Choices documentary series earned many honors such as a Gabriel number of awards from the prestigious New York Festivals.
In addition, he served as the host of morning radio news and interview programs on local stations 95.3 MNC and WTRC. On a number of occasions, he has served as the on-air host of WNIT-TV Public Television programs. On a regular weekday, he serves as the Director of Sales at Welch Packaging based in Elkhart.
