Gary Sieber is an American journalist currently working as the News personality at WNDU – TV. He served as Director of News and Public Affairs at WNDU-TV from 1985-1991.

Sieber graduated from Notre Dame in 1981. He majored in physics in college before deciding to pursue a career in media with concentrations in government, economics, history, and literature. Sieber has been an Adjunct Professor of Film, Television, and Theatre at The University of Notre Dame since 1991, supervising the education programs offered through WNDU for the University of Notre Dame. He also teaches Broadcast Journalism, specializing in News Writing, Ethics, and Journalism Law.
Sieber has also handled WNDU’s FCC regulatory and First Amendment legal matters. Sieber oversaw the production and writing of the PBS documentary series Today’s Life Choices from 1992 to 2003, which won numerous awards, including a Gabriel and several awards from the prestigious New York Festivals. Sieber is a frequent on-air host for programs airing on WNIT-TV Public Television and has hosted morning radio news and interview programs on local stations WTRC and 95.3 MNC. During the week, Sieber works as the Director of Sales at Welch Packaging in Elkhart, Indiana.
