Monica Murphy is an American anchor/reporter and multimedia journalist working at WNDU-TV since May 2019. Prior to joining the WNDU-TV team, she worked at 25 News Heart of Illinois ABC from October 2017 to May 2019 where she served as a multimedia journalist.
In 2009, she joined Saint Mary’s College where she graduated in 2013, with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, in Social Work. Later in 2014, she joined Indiana University South Bend where she graduated with a master’s degree in social work and mental health. Murphy works at WNDU-TV where she serves as a multimedia journalist. She has been featured and published in local, regional, and national newspapers and magazines, including The Huffington Post since 2007.
Monica secured an internship with the bestselling author Adriana Trigiani in New York City. In addition, she worked for the Education Counts Michiana show as an education reporter. Not long ago, she worked for an ABC and NBC affiliate in Peoria, Illinois where she served as a news reporter.
