Grant DeMars is an American anchor and reporter working at KWCH 12 in Wichita, Kansas where he serves as a reporter and weekday morning anchor. He joined KWCH 12 in July 2019 as a regional reporter.
In 2011, he joined Salina High Central where he earned a diploma in 2015. later on, he joined The University of Kansas where he studied journalism and graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in political science in 2019. While he was at The University of Kansas, he worked at KUJH-TV, the student-run television station in Lawrence where he served as an anchor and reporter. In addition, he would spend his summers improving his journalism skills.
DeMars interned at CBS News New York where he worked on 48 Hours show and at KOCO 5 News in Oklahoma City. Furthermore, while he was at CBS, he worked under Susan Zirinsky who was the CBS News president from 2019-2021. During his leisure time, he can be seen at the gym working out or spending ample time with his family.
