Murrow is the host of Grand Strand Today on WMBF News, weekdays at 11 am. Murrow attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and where she graduated with a major in broadcasting. While still on campus, she would report the university’s news and was also an intern in several stations like ABC, and Fox 8 News WGHP.
Murrow was hired as a reporter in Myrtle Beach soon after she was done with her studies back in 2010. She loved the place and felt really connected. She then worked for about five years as the producer of The Business Connection on HTC and host of Hotelevision. Murrow worked for two seasons as the host of The Myrtle Beach Pelicans and has always loved “the best fans in the minor leagues.”
Murrow formed “How to with Halley” so as to honor her late grandmother’s memories as well as to inspire and motivate other people. The show has its own segment on The Business Connection and has already started to gain fame. She had always wanted to be in the broadcasting world ever since she was a child. She would simulate being a QVC Host while selling dolls that her grandmother made she knew for sure that she will one day be able to achieve her dream of becoming a TV broadcaster.
