Vogel serves as a meteorologist at WXYZ Channel 7. She previously worked for WZZM 13, the ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, where she served as the weekday morning and noon meteorologist for about seven years. Prior to her tenure at WZZM 13, she worked for WPBN-WTOM in Traverse City, Michigan where she served as the morning meteorologist and co-anchor. She went to Kent State University where she completed her undergraduate studies with a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Production and a minor in Broadcasting.
Vogel joined Mississippi State University where she attained her bachelor’s degree in Geosciences and completed her Broadcast Meteorology Program at this institution. In addition to this, she was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
