Keenan Smith is an American meteorologist, anchor, and reporter working for WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan. Smith joined the network around September 2010 and worked as a morning and noon meteorologist until March 2018.

He, later on, joined WZBN in Trenton, New Jersey, and Raleigh, North Carolina, and served as an anchor and reporter. He went to Franklin and Marshall College where he attained his Dual Masters’s degree from Princeton University in New Jersey. Smith, later on, studied meteorology at Penn State, the College of DuPage, Portland State, and Oklahoma State.

Smith has also managed to win quite a number of awards and honors ever since he started his journalism career. For instance, he won an Illinois Associated Press Award for Investigative Reporting. In addition to this, he was also elected to membership in the American Meteorological Society. He also holds the AMS Seal of Approval and was nominated for a Midwest Regional Emmy Award for Best Weather.
