Heath Morton is an American meteorologist working for KLFY where he serves as a chief meteorologist. He joined the KLFY team in May 2007, after previously working for WAFF in Huntsville, Los Angeles.
Boaz is his native home and he was brought up in a small town in North Alabama. His love and passion for weather started in his early childhood days and his elementary school teachers noticed that he was always looking out the window, trying to see what was going on with the weather.
Later on, he joined Mississippi State University where he earned a degree in Geosciences with an emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology. In addition, after he had graduated, he packed his bags and headed to Columbus, Georgia where he began his first television weather job.
After working at WRBL in Columbus for 5 years, he relocated to Huntsville, Alabama where he worked at WAFF where he served as a weekend meteorologist for three years. During his downtime, she enjoys reading, eating the great food that Acadiana has to offer, storm chasing, playing the guitar, watching sports, creative writing, and watching sports, especially college football.
