Ibrahim Samra Biography
Ibrahim Samra is an American Emmy-nominated multi-media journalist working at WNDU since December 2018. He previously worked at Frequency TV where he served as a sports broadcaster in 2017.
Samra attended Columbia College Chicago where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. While he studied at Columbia College Chicago, he interned at NBC Sports Chicago, and Foodseum Chicago, and he worked as the best researcher alongside Chicago Magazine. He is a recipient of a scholarship for all the four years he was at Columbia College Chicago. In addition, he has reported on a number of important stories such as; the Laquan McDonald protests, the NFL Draft, the Laquan McDonald protests, the Mayoral Election, and the Chicago Cubs World Series.
Furthermore, Samra has had the opportunity to meet Bears legend, Mike Ditka, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and worked alongside ABC 7 Chicago’s Steve Dolinsky. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing basketball, working out at a local gym, hanging out with family, and the kitchen eating.
