Jack Springgate is an American anchor/reporter and multimedia journalist who works at WNDU as a reporter and multimedia journalist. He joined the WNDU team in September 2019, after previously working at KMOT-TV where he served as a reporter for two years.
When Springgate joined WNDU, he was passionate about highlighting the people, businesses, and places that make us proud to call Michiana home. He has spent half of his journalism career reporting, investigating, and putting together stories for afternoon newscasts.
Libertyville, Illinois is Jack’s native home and he attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies. While he was still at the University of Michigan, gained his first television experience at WOLV-TV. In addition, he has also worked at Beyond HS Sports Videography, NBC Sports Chicago, and Big Ten Student U before he had even graduated.
Springgate was able to secure his first television job at KMOT TV in Minot, North Dakota where he covered a wide range of sports and news topics. During his leisure time, he enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes, playing tennis, trying out the best restaurants around the Great Lakes, and spending ample time with friends and family.
