Jacob Albracht is an American anchor, reporter, and director working at KWCH 12 where he serves as a weeknight at 9 pm anchor and as a sports director. He joined KWCH 12 in June 2014, as a sports anchor and reporter.
While working at KWCH, he has held a number of roles such as weekend anchor/reporter, sports anchor, and sports director on KWCH and the KSCW. Albracht is also in charge of the largest and best high school sports coverage on Catch It Kansas. Prior to joining KWCH12 in 2014, he worked at KFDA-TV in Amarillo, Texas where he serves as a sports director. Over the years, he has covered many big stories for KWCH including; multiple NCAA tournaments, two Royals World Series runs, the chiefs Super Bowl championship, Bowl games, and a wide range of news stories affecting Kansans. In 2003, he joined West Texas A&M University where he studied mass communications and broadcasting.
