Jacqueline Fernandez is an American Anchor/Reporter who worked as the Weeknight evening anchor and reporter for KVAL News. She joined the station in October 2020 and left on June 17, 2022.

Fernandez received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as minors in Spanish and Arabic. Walter Cronkite was a major influence on her decision to pursue a degree in journalism. She considers herself fortunate to have had numerous interactions with Mr. Cronkite during her school years.
