Jason Guy is an American former reality TV star, radio host, and journalist working for WESH as a co-anchor of WESH 2 News Sunrise and WESH 2 News at Noon. He joined the station in September 2009 and has served the station for over a decade. Previously, he worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WRIC in Richmond, Virginia for three years.

He alongside Meredith McDonough anchored the breaking broadcast of a high-speed car chase unfolding over 40 minutes and ending when the suspect T-boned another vehicle at an intersection. Their anchoring won them an Associated Press award and an Emmy award.

Guy kickstarted his career when he was 18 years old hosting a weekly teen show on the Fox affiliate in Mobile, Alabama. Simultaneously, he was the host of one of the Gulf Coast’s highest-rated morning programs on WBHY-FM. He worked in radio for multiple years before he joined a local video production company.

Guy then concentrated on reality TV, auditioning for and winning the position of “houseguest” (a.k.a. competitor) on SN 3 of CBS’ Big Brother in 2002. He eventually made it to the last three of the show and was named the most recognized houseguest with a huge 82 percent of the viewer vote.

Following his tenure on Big Brother, Guy joined the casting for NBC’s The Biggest Loser, the CW’s Beauty and the Geek, and CBS’ The Amazing Race. Next, he relocated to Richmond, Virginia where he worked for WRIC as a traffic reporter before his promotion to reporter and fill-in anchor.
