John Boel is an American 95-time Emmy Award-Winning anchor working at WAVE 3. Boel joined WAVE 3 News team in January 2012 as a weekday from 5 p.m to 6:30 pm anchor.
Boel is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. For three of the past four years, John was awarded the best news anchor. The awards made him win many Emmy Awards but what he is most proud of is his family. Boel is a very good storyteller and he loves to tell them. Over the years, he has won 13 Edward r.
